We’re Live — And Overflowing with Gratitude
Just over a month ago, I wrote my very first blog post, sharing that I was launching Ubuntu & Beyond Travel. At the time, it was still just a dream in progress. I hadn’t even gone public yet—I was working quietly behind the scenes, building the foundation for something I believed in with all my heart.
A week ago, that dream officially went live.
Since then, my world has been a beautiful whirlwind. Messages, calls, comments, and kind words have poured in from friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers who simply love travel as much as I do.
To each and every one of you who has reached out, supported me, shared my posts, or even just paused to read about Ubuntu & Beyond—thank you. Truly. Your encouragement has carried me through late nights, long hours, moments of uncertainty, and yes—a few tears.
This past month has been intense. I’ve been working tirelessly: crafting itineraries, refining my services, designing the website, learning new systems, and dreaming up journeys that go deeper than the typical tourist trail.
It’s been exhausting, thrilling, and more rewarding than I ever imagined.
I started Ubuntu & Beyond because I believe travel should be more than just a vacation. It should connect us to the world and to each other. It should leave us changed, inspired, and more deeply human. Seeing how many of you resonate with that vision has been the most humbling and joyful part of this journey so far.
We’re only at the beginning. I can’t wait to share new destinations, meaningful experiences, and ways we can explore the world with purpose and intention.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for being part of this adventure. The best is yet to come.
With love and gratitude,
Baylee
